Adrian started DJing in 2005 after being hounded by his brother Adam to start whilst studying Business at Southampton Solent University. Adrian went on to spend most of his student loan on vinyl and mixing tracks instead of studying. Adrian has a passion for Dance music and the journey it has taken him and his brother on (see Adam’s bio below).

Adrian mainly focuses on the day to day operataions of XpressDJs.net and assisting in the development of the website and community.

Away from music Adrian enjoys swimming, going to the gym and sleeping.

Adam started DJing after seeing Fatboy Slim play to over 250,000 on a sunny July day in 2002. Unable to afford his first set of turntables he still purchased vinyl for the day he could get his hands on a pair.

Now, several years and several thousand of pounds later, Adam, along with his identical twin brother Adrian, are main room residents at the Honey Club in Brighton. Adam and Adrian have warmed up for the likes of Judge Jules, The Freemasons, The Hoxton Whores, Jonathan Ulysses to name but a few. They have also DJ'd at Pacha in London, as well as across the UK.

Adam lists his Hobbies as: Downloading new music, Badminton and Philanthropy.

History / Background

XpressDJs.net (Also known as XpressDJs) was founded in 2008 by Graham Seccombe, and twin brothers Adam Vaughan and Adrian Vaughan.

Originally called XpressDJs.com, the name was changed in 2010 to XpressDJs.net (i.e. XpressDJs Network) as the next stage of development will include a community for DJs and Producers. The XpressDJs.com domain is still controlled by Xpress MMCG and now forwards the visitor to XpressDJs.net. The website’s design and development is created and maintained by Graham Seccombe’s Xpressiv Media Group.

All operations that support XpressDJs.net are privately funded by the founders and in its current format XpressDJs.net produces no revenue.

The website has gone through various development and advancements since its inception; changing from a monthly magazine, released and updated once a month, to a continuously updated and dynamic ezine with user contributed content. XpressDJs features and content development is maintained by its chief editorial staff Adam Vaughan and Adrian Vaughan.

Expansion into other Media

In January 2009 XpressDJs.net started to produce its own bi-weekly online radio show, or podcast, aired on a Saturday from 5pm-7pm (GMT) on SS Radio UK. The show is hosted (or mixed) by brothers Adam and Adrian Vaughan and is called ‘Xpressiv Sessions’. The show can be listened to live and is available as a podcast via iTunes after the show has aired.

In June 2011 XpressDJs.net launched its own YouTube Channel 'XpressDJsTV'. The Channel concentrates on Neil 'Gio' Francis' video blogs from his time reporting in Ibiza.
